I'm not placing a pre-order for the Season 4.0 DVD set of Battlestar Galactica but that doesn't mean I won't buy it.  In fact, I'm planning to make my purchase on January 6.  I'm going to have to do it after work because I'm already taking off January 16 to enjoy the long overdue marathon on the scifi channel.   I generally prefer online shopping to the brick and mortar experience but with only 10 days between the release of the DVD's and the premiere of the last batch of new episodes I don't have time to waste on shipping days (especially those "super saver" rates which seem designed specifically to show the consumer how incredibly long they can take if they aren't trying to impress you).  So, anyway, getting to my point.  Best Buy is doing something interesting.  I don't generally wait for release dates on DVD's so, for all I know, this could be a long-standing  practice but here ya go.  Their website has a couple of deleted scenes posted from the DVD extras.   As with most BSG promotional materials it ain't much but I'll take it.  Hopefully there will be more than just those two extras in the set!  So say we all!
