Brother Cavil - Battlestar Drink

Since the inception of this website we've wanted to name a drink after our favorite Cylon. We finally came up with something worthy of the machine. Feel free to play with the ratio of soft drink to alcohol. It wasn't our first drink of the day so we went a little light on the booze.

"Brother Cavil"

4 oz. Vanilla Vodka

10 oz. Root Beer

Add all ingredients to the Margaritaville Frozen Concoction Maker pitcher and blend with ice as directed in the owner's manual. Garnish with a stemmed cherry and enjoy!

Wow - much lighter on the vodka than the other concoctions. Clearly not the first drink of the day....

I think a halo of whipped cream would be a nice touch. Certainly would enhance the visual, and I think the sweet dairy flavoring of the whipped cream would be a nice compliment to the Rootbeer.

Also I wonder if this would be better served "On the Rocks" instead of Slurpee style. Ice doesn't enhance flavoring. It will just water it down.

I like cheese. You need to make a drink that uses melted cheese.

Excellent suggestion Peekay and Lauda! Also, a halo of ground beef would really make this drink "pop."
