We usually see Admiral Adama sipping ambrosia or chugging Chief's moonshine.  We like to picture him drinking something a little more deceptively refreshing at the New Caprica groundbreaking. Something like this . . .

8 oz. Root Beer Flavored Vodka
6 oz. Amaretto
Vanilla Ice Cream (garnish)
 
Add both liquid ingredients to the Margaritaville Frozen Concoction Maker pitcher and blend with ice as directed in the owner's manual.  Garnish with a melon ball sized scoop of vanilla ice cream.
